Profile Summary

During the last two decades, Tim's work has progressed from environmental sciences, agriculture producer, government conservation, federal policy, and as a business owner and author to address the complexity of agriculture sustainability through understanding collaborative governance from a practitioner's perspective.
His recent book "Shared Governance for Sustainable Working Landscapes "http://bit.ly/1PMW2rA (Taylor & Francis/CRC Aug 2016) uses 11 case studies to describe how governance actors and styles 'come together' to create governance frameworks to address supply chains and governmental watershed efforts.

The assessment uses a new governance compass to identify the types of actors completing which tasks and identifies the styles of governance used to complete the tasks.
This book builds off "EcoCommerce 101: Adding an ecological dimension to the economy", a 2011 book describing an environmental market signal and the economic transactions. It was then applied to projects such as: UN Foundation's Solutions From the Land, Chesapeake Bay BMP Verification Panel, 25x25 Climate Adaptation, USDA CRP Initiative, NRCS ENTSC Farm Portfolio training, US Water Alliance and state/local watershed/resource efforts.
